Drop the Number tips and strategy
To score high in Drop the Number style games, keep your biggest block anchored in one column, stack the others from big to small, and place every block where it starts a chain reaction. These tips work in Drop the Number and in Blokami.

The basics
1. Anchor your biggest block
Pick a column (an edge one is easiest) and keep your biggest block at its bottom for the whole game. Every block you build should eventually fall into that column and merge down into it.
2. Stack from big to small
In each column, big numbers at the bottom, small at the top: 64, 32, 16, 8. When an 8 lands on that 8, the column collapses into a 128 in one chain. A small number trapped under a big one is the most common way to lose.
3. Keep one column low
Have a "trash" column that you keep short. Blocks that fit nowhere go there instead of ruining a stack you have been building.
Chains and combos
4. Look for the double merge
A block that lands touching two equal numbers (one below, one beside) absorbs both and jumps two levels: a 4 becomes 16. It also scores the new value, so it is worth more than two separate merges.
5. Read the side neighbours
Merges work sideways too. Before you drop, check the blocks to the left and right of where yours will land, not just the one below it.
6. Watch the next block
The numbers you receive grow with your biggest block. Knowing the next one lets you set up a merge one drop in advance. In Blokami, revealing it costs 50 coins for the whole game: buy it early.
Blokami power-ups
7. Aim lightning at the most common number
Lightning removes every other block of its number. Merge it when the board is full of that number, ideally small blocks that are clogging your stacks.
8. Drop fire where the mess is
Fire burns the 3 × 3 square around it. Use it on a tangle of small blocks, never next to your anchor block. Frost slows the next five drops: use them to place carefully.
9. Save coins for the continue
You start with 100 coins and earn more from gold blocks and from every merge of 128 or more. The first continue costs 100 and clears the top three rows; each next one costs twice as much. The hammer (100 coins) is better spent removing the single block that blocks a chain.
